Another one of those “we have no budget but want to shoot a Hollywood level horror music video” with the crazy boys at KLYNT. Thankfully David “Dadu” Dunkl (vocals) spent an extraordinary amount of preparation time in trials for the various gore effects. Shooting was done at Tick Tack Graz by Matthias Gergetz and me, edit was done by Dadu himself.

One learning I took away from the shooting was to always – ALWAYS – take care of proper audio during a shoot. Even if you are shooting a music video – like we were – it pays to have somewhat useable on-set audio in case you want to reuse some of that footage later for e.g. a behind the scenes video… or you just cut a half-assed behind the scenes video with horrible audio, like I did:

That would have been way more fun to cut after the fact had I had decent audio. Which I did not. Oh well, next time then.
